Looking into people

You look at a brown skinned man with a beard, you think he is a terrorist. If he looks a little tense you confirm he is one. You will also feel free to think that he just planted a bomb somewhere. You see an African American approaching you in the night when you are taking a walk and you think he is going to mug you. These people might turn into someone whom you are afraid of, the actually point is.. What if they don’t? What if they are not whom you fear they actually are. You look at an accident in the newspaper and feel a chill down the spine thinking what might have happened if it happened to you. . My point is not about what one thinks, am talking about the things which we do not think, but do. The question is “Do you feel the same chill when you stepped on the accelerator and exceeded the speed limit quite a few times?” You see some fat guy and judge him as someone who ate a lot? What if he actually has a thyroid complaint and his obesity is not actually related to his food habits. An eccentric person you might come across could actually be a genius in something that you might be an idiot at. Did you look into the person before judging him? Einstein once said, “Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.” Actually speaking, it doesn’t hurt to judge people. It just builds up your negative potential within us unknowingly. Not all books should be judged by their cover. As all of us know judging doesn’t take a lot of effort out of you. It’s easier to talk negatively about someone than positively about the same person. Its human default I guess. Our brain has this stupid ability to think negatively without much effort. Your eyes often show you what you want to see. Looking at a white cloth with a small stain you can easily notice the stain instead of appreciating the rest of brightness surrounding the stain. There is a lot of negativity in this world, But that shouldn’t encourage you to think negatively. The everyday newspaper doesn’t show how many people had a great day, it shows how many people did not. You can say “I Judged, big deal” If you think this way, fine, it’s your choice. Its personal after al. There is no universal right or wrong thing. We have the freedom to act the way we want. What you consider something dark blue is black to me.

What I want to say is “to look into people you need more than just your eyes”

Happening

“Sitting in a chair.. I gripped the handles.. they are soft but sharply cold.. I don’t know where I am.. I looked around.. the walls of the room are made of wood.. I can feel the air from the conditioner hit the back of my neck.. am in the middle of the room sitting in a chair.. there is a desk before me with a monitor, keyboard and a few cables on it.. the table looked dirty.. there were two doors on either side of a window in the room to the right of me.. both had an exit sign on them..I tried to looking through the window.. it was dark.. pitch black.. It seemed like a lab.. something like a working place which is not presently use.. I heard a sound coming through one of those doors.. too afraid to get up I turned my head towards the door.. I could hear whispers from the door.. I tried to concentrate on what they are saying.. but suddenly my head started to hurt and the whispers became louder.. so louder that I can hear them even after closing my ears tightly.. the headache was so excruciating that I can’t take it anymore.. and the pain seemed to increase with the sound of whispers.. Unable to control the pain.. I shouted.. Everything went silent for a minute.. no whispers.. no pain.. I slowly got up from the chair and started walking towards one of the doors.. Interested to know where I was.. I walked towards the window.. I cant see anything outside.. when I turned back.. the air conditioner stopped.. the room is now silent.. dead silent.. I can just hear my heart beat and feel my breath going inside out.. I am shivering now.. its cold.. there suddenly was a loud thunder.. a flash of lightning.. I turned around.. rain drops started knocking slowly on the window glass.. I can see my reflection in the window glass through the dripping rain water.. I walked slowly towards the door.. too afraid to go inside.. even more afraid to stay in the room.. I walked into the room.. it was a little dark.. I looked around to find the light switch.. I looked into the middle of the room.. there were no one.. still I have this weird feeling of someone else being present.. around me.. looking at me.. talking about me.. talking to me.. I started walking into the middle of the room.. there was a sudden change in the rooms atmosphere now.. its like someone are moving around me.. I can’t see them.. I just can feel someone moving from here to there.. around me now....i smell of new clothes.. now chocolate milk.. jasmines.. cigar.. the aromas just passing around me.. I tried closing my eyes and tried to calm myself.. didn’t work.. I ran from this room to another.. this room seemed vacant.. when I tried to walk into this room.. I tripped myself and fell down.. I heard the laugh of little girls.. I turned around to see where its coming from.. it slowly died away.. I got up.. my heart was beating faster than ever.. walked towards the wall yet again.. to find a light switch.. after rubbing my hand against the wall for a couple of times.. finally found it.. when in turned it on.. the light was so blinding that I cant see anything except white space around me.. I shut my eyes closed and buried my head in my hands unable to take the brightness.. I turned the switch off.. it was all dark again.. I am trying to think how I ended up here.. whenever I thought my head started to hurt.. My body began sweating now.. I can feel the sweat dripping down my back.. I stood up from the ground and walked towards the door.. I can finally see some light coming through the door.. I walked towards the door.. towards the light.. I kept walking.. it seemed close.. but am unable to reach it.. the faster I try to go to it.. the more I feel its going away from me.. I was walking and walking.. but am still not there.. what is this?.. whats happening to me? .. it was all silent around me.. I am panting for breath now.. tired of running.. I collapsed on my knees.. suddenly there was a sound.. blasting through the silence.. I sprung back sitting on my bed.. and shut the alarm off.. it was 6 in the morning.. am sitting on my bed.. I collapsed back on to the bed.. relieved it was just a dream.. Am just too afraid to close my eyes again..” .. Like everyday he wrote about this dream in his dairy and went to take a shower. He was a real estate agent, he drove to the trailer which he is going to sell to a client. He drove there earlier than the meeting time as usual and started looking around the trailer. He opened the door and walked inside. His agency’s information is that a family used to live in this trailer. It felt so familiar to him.. as if he was here before.. he saw a table with an envelope laid under a photo frame turned upside down.. he turned the photo frame and saw the picture of a family.. a man with a cigar in his mouth.. two little girls.. and a women with her arms wrapped around the girls.. she has flowers in her hair. He set the frame aside and opened the envelope.. there was a folded paper inside it.. when he opened and read whats inside.. he fell down in panic and threw the letter away.. he heard little girls laughs from the walls.. he got up and ran out of the trailer.. the letter read “What if your dream was real”.

Dawn at night

“Tell me one reason why you had to take such a big risk?”, “Why would you do that, we believed in you, why did you take a decision without consulting us, It’s always about you, isn’t it?” “Why do you need partners in your company when you don’t care about them?” “You messed up everything; we both are not responsible for this”.

All these words are playing in his mind. Suddenly he heard a loud screech, he looked to his side, a car was speeding towards his way honking loud. He was so close that he can see the tense drivers face, the next second he hit floor and everything blacked out, he tried to open his eyes slowly, he couldn’t feel his body, Shouts of people and cars honks are slowly increasing, all he could see is a blurry image of someone asking if he was alright, slowly the noise waned. It was silent all over again. A loud voice yelled after a brief silence “It’s all your fault”

He woke up but he couldn’t see anyone around in his hospital room. He was sweating profusely. Hearing a sound he tilted his head towards the window, it was raining outside. His fractured hand was wrapped in a bandage and he could feel the pain surfacing. He was trying to remember how he got to the hospital, but all he could recollect were a few flashes of memory, people asking him if he was alright followed by the ambulance noise and then the blackout. But, he was unable to forget what had happened before the accident.

After opening a consultancy with two other partners, his life seemed to be sailing smoothly until he took a risk and gambled with a contract and landed the whole firm in trouble. He meant to consult his partners before he took this rather risky decision, but something inside him, probably the ego developed due to the past compromises he made with his partners lead to it. They blamed him for what he has done and disagreed to share the consequences. Blaming him for what he did and with no one on his side, dejected he stormed out of the office, he felt all his life was in tatters, his dreams collapsing before him. He stood at the gate looking at the road, he can hear the traffic speeding before him, and devoid of his pain life ruthlessly seems to rush. The noise slowly became unbearable, he stated walking down the road not caring about the traffic, suddenly he heard a screeching sound and turned to his head, a car was speeding towards his way honking, the next second he was down on the floor.

Lying on the hospital bed now, he was contemplating what had happened and how a decision messed things up. He was there now waking up to the real world, he felt worthless, he felt he has no reason to live, all his dreams were falling apart before him, the company; his dream was lying broken, tears slowly dripped from his eyes, he felt helpless. He lay back on his bed and said “life is not fair”. He knew that risks had to be taken in a business; he shook his head repeating again that life is not fair to him and why does only he have all the problems.

After watching the motionless ceiling for some time, he looked out of the window and saw a kid in the playing happily in the rain; he thought how happy that kid was and wished he was a kid again. He walked slowly to the door, limping and walking. A fresh breeze with a mist of water hit his face when he opened the door. He limped outside towards the balcony; he saw a bench close to the door and sat there. Looking into the rain, he wondered yet again, “Why isn’t life fair to me?” The kid who was playing in the rain came into the balcony, he looked at him with a beaming smile, the smile was such that even he who was misery drowned couldn’t do anything but smile back.
The kid came and sat beside him, the kid asked him rubbing the rain water off his face, “do you like rain?” Before he replied, the kid added “I love it, I like to play in the rain, I always do”. The kid then looked at his hand and asked, “What happened to your hand, did someone hit you?” He replied “Yeah, a car hit me, it was an accident”. The kid laughed and said “My mom always told me that you will be hit by a car if you are not careful”. The kid added mimicking what he was saying “you should look left first and then right and then cross”. The man replied “I was not careful I guess”. The kid asked again inquiringly “Why are you not careful?” The man replied “It’s a long story”. The kid quickly replied “Tell me, I like stories, I anyway have to wait till evening, I am going home today”. The man replied “that’s good, what happened to you, why were you here?” “I got a fever, but now I am feeling good, so they are sending me home, am going to play with my friends. I haven’t met them for a month because of my fever”. The kid without a pause added, “Tell me about your story, what happened to you?” The man replied “Well, you know what a consultancy is? What a tender is? what partnerships are?”. The kid had a puzzled expression on his face; he said “No, I don’t”. The man replied “well, then you won’t understand my story”. The kid replied “Yeah, but how does those things make you less careful”. The man smiled and replied “I don’t know things are not going well for me, life is not fair kid, you will know it when you grow up” The kid looked at him with another puzzled expression and said “I felt bad when I was here for a month, I cannot play and they did many painful tests on me, today am going home, they will let you go home too, you will be happy then”. He looked at the kid and smiled. Both of them sat silently and looked into the rain.

After being silent for some time, the kid slowly fell asleep on his shoulder. After a few minutes, the nurse came searching for the kid, “His parents are here, they were searching for him”. After a few minutes, he saw the kid walking away with his parents, elated. The doctor came out with them, kissed the kid on his cheek and asked him to be nice. There was something that was missing; the doctor’s expressions seemed unnatural. The kid walked away holding his parents hands, as if he someone had called him, the kid looked at him and waved, he waved back with a smile.

The doctor saw him waving back at the kid, he came to him and asked how his hand was, and he replied it hurts. The doctor advised him not to strain his hand too much for at least a month. He then asked the doctor about the kid and why he was here. The doctor began saying “the kid was brought in a month ago with serious abdominal pain, when we looked into it, he was detected with intestine cancer” the doctor looked away from him and said “he only has few days left, he is not responding to treatment, we thought it would be good to let him free the last few days” This hit him like a bolt, more impactful than the car.

The boys words came back to him, “I felt bad when I was here for a month as I cannot play and they did many tests on me, but see today am happy, you will be happy too”. He wondered “I was telling myself life was unfair to me, if it was unfair to me, then what is it to that kid”. Walking back into his room he wondered “The kid doesn’t even know what he has, he doesn’t know that he will die, he was living with a hope, a hope that he will play happily with his friends. He sat on his bed and started thinking “Life is unfair to everyone, no one said its going to be fair, others have bigger problems than us, losing hope is losing life”. That night brought a new dawn in his life.

We and the media

When was the last time you saw a newspaper praising the government for something it had done, not just Indian media to the least, the global media in general. Is the Indian government has really been that bad?, with scams surfacing every now and then, with a GDP expected to raise at 8.3%, touted globally as a rising Asian giant, having a transparency index of 3.3 (on a scale of 0-10, 0 being highly corrupt, 10 being highly clean), with some people trying to fight corruption by exercising their fundamental rights. If asked to describe about this country in a single word, I would say “India”. Growth, scams, hoopla, cricket, movies; everything happens here, everything so contradictory, but at the same time, a striking balance keeps it altogether. In such a country, politics plays a center stage and the media’s role is rather tricky, often biased, often opinionated. Let’s take a look at the contemporary politicians, to start with the Prime Minister, Dr. Manmohan Singh, a finance minister in the past, yes he is not that articulate, does it mean that he is ineffective? Digvijay Singh, the general secretary of congress gives his piece of mind which you might not like but you just cannot ignore it. The leaders of the opposition Arun Jaitely and his own party rival Sushma Swaraj use the media as their mouth piece, they don’t leave any opportunity to shout out loud which not only proves their existence but also gives the impression to the common man that they care. The real question here is “how much is essential of a politician to go on air and express his views”. 100% I would say, after all how people would know what’s going on if their elected leaders stay mute. Manmohan singh might be widely appreciated for his integrity but his media silent image makes him akin to a dumb man blessed with a lot of singing talent. Coming back to the media responsibility, ethically speaking, media has to be skeptical, but at the same time should equally be exalting the government on the growth and beneficial policies if any. So much negativity has never lasted long and never will, trash and nail the politicians if they are wrong, laud the exemplary, after all these hiccups are normal in a thriving economy. With politically elite people blogging and twittering, and with facebook triggering democratic revolutions, media and internet have risen to a new level, a link between people at different places and different levels. Media transparency which completes and complements the democratic cycle of a country is the major advantage we have over China, improving it empowers us. If you want to know what’s happening right now, go to a news website, if you really want to know what the hell actually happened, go to Wikileaks.

The Modern Buddha

A few days ago I read about Siddhartha, the rich king who later in his life going through different and profound emotions turned out to be the Buddha. The story seemed so fascinating, what enthuses me about the Buddhism is the fact that it is a religion preached by a person who lived in the recent past. The transformation from Siddhartha into Buddha is so compelling that you will actually believe that, if one passes through a series of intense life changing ups and downs, its believable that you will attain this so called enlightenment. Buddha according to me is not a person; it’s a state of mind. In this state of mind, everything around you makes sense to you, even the most complex of human emotions, in simpler terms, it’s conquering your own self completely, a complete control on your emotions. According to what I read, Siddhartha was a king, he had everything he wanted in his life, he enjoyed music, lived in a palace, was entertained by women, he had every pleasure he could imagine of. He then married a beautiful princess and had a baby. He was never subjected to suffering for 28 years, which indeed was a very long time. It’s better than a fairy tale actually; even characters in a fairy tale had to fight or overcome problems to live happily ever after. So he found out that something wasn’t correct. He then went out of his palace to discover the pains and sufferings people are subjected to. He then leaves his palace and goes into the forest leaving two things behind, firstly the lifeless and temporary riches and comforts. Secondly, he left his wife, their month’s old kid, the love that existed between them and the love that would have existed if he stayed back. He then tried different methods to achieve enlightenment. He did not eat for months and just meditated, he approached different teachers and he was hurt physically as well as mentally. After going through all this, he was said to have attained enlightenment. In the present world, if we begin searching for another Buddha (as I began by saying that I understood Buddha as the state of mind but not a person) if looked carefully we might find them around us. These modern Buddha’s are not raised in palaces (considering that born and raised in a palace is an advantage, which I would like to call it as an “up”), but they are born in homes in which they ate healthy food, went to good schools, had parties, had friends (which Buddha lacked by the way, he was kept away from the outside world by his father). If all these were considered up’s. They might have a few downs in their lives too, breaking up of relationships, failing in school, problems managing money, again Buddha didn’t have these kind of low’s, which has its advantages and disadvantages equally shared. If thinking that going through a series of amazing ups and hard hitting downs, analyzing them and understanding them is a way to enlightenment, then many of us have reached there. Are we all Buddha’s then? The answer would be no. We cannot be Buddha. We do not live in solitaire, we do not and cannot meditate every day, we are the part and parcel of a fast moving world, a world more growing with technology and shrinking in value every passing day, we learn from our mistakes, we make new mistakes, we drink, we eat, we celebrate when we succeed, we lock ourselves away from others and cry when we lose. We, humans are a combination of various emotions. Buddha’s way of enlightenment is past; he was always looking for the reason behind human suffering. The new way to enlightenment is learning from your mistakes and making new ones, thereby learning more. Conquering emotions is what Buddha did to achieve enlightenment, it’s a way. But history would have changed very little if everyone chose the same path. Whoever looks for reasons which lead to their mistakes and generalizes them turn into philosophers, the very new breed of Modern Buddha’s.

HIM and HER

They just parked the car, he opened the door and was about to get out of the car when she sternly said
She: Can we sit in the car for some time; I need to talk to you
She was moody all the night, spoke very little
He: Sure
He came back into the car and shut the door. She turned down the engine, turned towards him and spoke
She: I cannot do this anymore. I don’t see any future for our relationship
He looked away from her; he began looking at the beautiful moon through the car window. He knew this was coming. But he hoped against hope that things will work out between them. The kid inside him wanted to enjoy the beautiful moon instead of facing her and accepting the break up. He finally turned at her. Her eyes showed she already made her decision, he paused for a minute. The silence was killing him. He doesn’t want to accept that everything between them was over.
He: I don’t know what to say, if you already made your decision regarding us and if you think it’s better if we both stay apart.
A long silence followed. The time seems to have stopped
She: Can we go now, am tired.
He just nodded his head, pulled of his jacket hood to hide his face under it and walked out of the car.
He went into his room, he couldn’t control his tears. He screamed loud.. Buried his face in between his hands.. His mind is asking for reasons, but his heart just wants to cry..

He ran into her a few days later. Both of them took a walk and talked about them, she explained the reasons for their breakup.
She: I am moving away from here, that’s the main reason and I don’t think long distance relationships work for me
He: Can we be friends at least? I don’t want to be away from you just because you broke up with me. But deep inside he knew that everything is over.
She: Sure, we can. I am actually leaving tonight
They hugged each other and he left. He went back and wrote ..

“ You were in a hurry to leave for your flight., i asked you if i can talk to you for a minute, you said yes and closed the door behind you.. the only thing i asked you was a promise from you that we will meet in the future, you nodded your head, but you are looking away from me.. you hugged me quickly, turned away and left.. all this must have happened in like 3-4 seconds.. but those 3-4 seconds felt like days for me.. after you hugged me, turned away and left.. my time stood still..the world froze.. i couldn't move, am just breathing.. i just stood there.. even now.. i am still there”

Wherever he went, her memories followed her. He thought about her when he is sleeping, she was in his dreams. The early morning reminded him of her.

He knew that hurting him was never her intention, he knew that she enjoyed the time she spent with him.

His love towards her made him a poet of pain for some time, as time passed away.. that pain made him a poet of love. He wrote about love, the very interesting phenomenon which kept them together, which made him ask for more for the first time in his life

He wrote “People say that time will heal all your wounds and ease the pain.. But, for time to wipe you out, you are not a memory.. you are my life”

Be the Best

All am trying to do is analyzing a man who defied age and fatigue for more than 20 years and is still in the game. Many a young talents came and went during his illustrious career, he had to carry the entire teams responsibility, remember the time when the entire Indian batting line up collapsed as soon as he got out, after a few years he got competition, but neither the new players determination nor their talent were a match to this colossus. Then there was 20-20 cricket, a form of game which didnt exsist when he started playing cricket..he failed at it in the beginning, they said 20-20 is only for young cricketers, he defied it proving yet again that he is a phenomenal cricketer.. he has more than 100 centuries...he must have watched his team lose a lot of matches, he raised the best player trophies a lot of time, he got drenched in Champagne after his team's victory. Nevertheless, he still kept his enthusiasm intact, he suffered a lot of injuries, he had slumps in his form.. he is not like rocky the boxer.. he didn't take a break and then made a dream comeback, for he is no rocky.. he didn't lose his enthusiasm for his game even though he was awarded fame and money..for in an impulsive country like India, instant success and consequent riches are not really hard to achieve.. But, cricket was always his first love.. Then i realised this, when you love something a lot.. you will excel at it.. if you love something a lot, and if you are gifted with extraodinary levels of genius.. you'll simply be a Sachin Tendulkar at it. Sachin was probably successfull becasue he was never afraid of competition, he know and he believed that he is the best and he is humble all throughout his career, he accepted every defeat,..he never had controversies with other players in his career spanning over 20 years. he conquered his emotions.Arrogance has never been an attribute of legendary players.. He acknowledges his every milestone to the god by looking at the heavens, he is humble to god even when the whole country considers him as a god..his down to earth approach completes eliminates the ego factor. The expectations he have on him when he goes to bat in every match are surreal, he was expected to hit centuries in each and every match he plays, when he was out for a duck in the world cup 2003 versus sri lanka, he didn't show any emotion, for he is way beyond them, for him it was just another match in which he missed a ball. Tendulkar is not just a cricketer, he is a human example for success. Speaking about enthusiasm, i once asked my professor who was teaching in the same university since the last 25 years, if he is bored of teaching everyday.. he replied that he isnt, and he added that there is always a new thing to learn everyday and that he has to learn it and teach it to the students, so when you are learning something new everyday, its not mundane anymore. If i go and ask the same to sachin whether he is bored of cricket, he will probably reply in the same manner.. enthusiasm is the key to success, if not, atleast it is the key to self satisfaction.. Sachin is doing it throughout the years as he is fond of doing it.. my teacher is still teaching with the same interest as he did 20 years as he likes doing it.. if you really want to be prolific, whatver field you are in, whatever you are doing, whoever you are..never lose the enthusiasm towards what you are doing.. don't think of being famous, don't aim to be rich, for they are temporary and will take you nowhere.. the right way is to approach it with zeal, and most of all believe that you are the best.. you will be the best..

The lake

He was on his way walking to the lake now, half way thru already. He will have to cross the Lincoln street, and then the east stadium boulevard, a few yards from cherry street and there lies the lake in all its glory, not a lot of fishes though owing to the reason that it’s a manmade lake, a wide variety of trees bordering the lake and silhouetting the mountains in the background. He is on the Lincoln street now and the sun is beginning to set, throughout the way he laid his hand on his pocket where he kept his cell phone, occasionally taking it out and checking if he got any messages. He rarely walked alone on that street; there was some sort of sadness in his eyes, quiver in his breath and loneliness filled all over him. As he walked he thought how different life could be, he stopped at a tree where he held her hand, where they looked into each other’s eyes, that’s when she said “We will be together, forever”. The time has passed away and he passed the tree continuing his journey to the lake. He remembered a line which he read from a book a while ago, “You come alone to this world, you will go alone”. He laughed at his very thought, it wasn’t his usual laugh though, this was a laugh at his own ignorance.

He took out his cell phone again; it still had no text messages or missed calls, just a wallpaper of her looking at him and smiling. Now he came to the end of the street, if they were together, they would normally run across the street if it was the red signal, she never liked it but ran with him as he wanted to do it. The traffic light showed red, he wanted to run but stopped now as she doesn’t like running the signal, his inside voice spoke, “Run, idiot! There is no one stopping you now”. He came to the stadium boulevard now; there are no people on the side walk. He took out his cell phone thinking if she called him or texted him, but there was nothing, just her wallpaper smiling at him. He continued to walk silently, his feet cramping as he didn’t have any food since the last few days. He finally came to the cherry street, a few paces and he could see the lake, he could see her run before him and challenging him to beat her to the lake. He started running, slipped and fell to the ground, his hand bruised badly, he looked at the street, there were no one, she wasn’t there, but he could still feel her around. He walked slowly to the lake, sat at the coast with his feet in the cold water; he could feel the gravel and the sand under his feet. He cried looking into the lake, water slowly came down his moon-lit cheeks. He spent countless nights with her near the lake, she passed away, but he will keep coming to the lake, even though she passed away her memories will remain with him, their memories will remain with the lake.

The NEW jOB

“ i am the same whatever it is, having to do many things, many reason to owe.. no one to blame except me.. failed yet again..lost this job..sitting at the same place again..listening to the same sad songs again and again to drain my sorrow…” that’s my story these days, people of my age going with their girls after the days work..its long since I had a drink with the girl liked..girls here come with money..i need to go search for a new job..again the very routine job…setting goals and achieving them, time and achievements decide my pay..and there will be one Mr.Harry in every office who will try his best to drag you down the ladder..ok..enough blaming the world..lets go do something exciting before joining a job”

Its 10 in the night, he just has enough money to pay that nights dinner, sipping the soda from the can he came to the street, wind is blowing at a steady pace, a paper came to his feet…it was the days news paper, rugged and tore by the cruel day…he took it into his hands..he saw an advertisement displaying the photo of a woman, who robbed her owner and ran with money...he smiled at her photo…he thought may be he could ask her out…he smiled at the very thought…he trashed the can and started walking his way back home..hands tucked inside his pockets…he walked alone the road..he didn’t sleep that night…thoughts wandered in his mind on what to do..he lost many jobs but he never quite felt this way..he woke up early that morning and went to the very office he was fired yesterday…he went to the managers cabin… “I am so sorry for what I did, I promise that I’ll work to your expectations this time, please give me a chance”. He paused for a second started walking to the manager and held his neck with lightning speed and said “do you think I will say that”...”give me all the money you have, else this will be your last day at this office..” the manager gave the money…he pushed the manager into a corner and started running pushing everything aside..he felt content and happy while running...he very barely knew that the manager called the police…the police who were searching for the girl who robbed her owner came to the block..he saw the police running towards him..he stopped running and tried to pretend like a normal man…the manager who by the time following him shouted “catch him”… after chasing for some time the police caught him and took him to the police car…even though he was caught, he was not feeling the way he felt after losing the job..he saw someone in the car…the police pushed him into the car…he looked at the girl in the car, shes the very girl he saw in the last days paper…he smiled at her…she smiled too..he suddenly held her throat…she started to scream and gasp for breath…the police tried to drag and separate them out…they caught him and dragged him out of the car…his grip was so strong that she came along with him…he released his grip from her throat..the police gave a blow on his face and went to the women who fell as if she was dead…they tried to bring her breath back…meanwhile he quickly reached for the cops gun and kept it to the cops head…she quickly rose up and came behind him…they pushed the cops into the car, took the car keys, broke the radio and locked the car from outside…and they happily ran ever after

The cry of the blackstone ruins

the bird now reached under the roof landed on the portico, it started quivering its feathers... the drops of water fell on rekha's feet..she was watching the birds play in the rain, they were running around in circles playfully, far away she could see the ruins of a fort made of black stone...she can remember her running amidst the ruins with her hands running along the cold stone...things were different now, she came from mumbai to this village to visit her sick grandmother, she liked the village, its quiet surroundings, friendly people, irregular rain, cold atmosphere and especially the ruins of the black fort...she was looking into the village from thier old building when her phone rang, for the umpteenth time, rohan again saying sorry about what happened few days back...she didnt pick up the call, instead she turned her head away from her phone and tried to concentrate on her childhood days in the village, playing with farmers kids and dancing in the rain forgetting herself...before the call from her grand mother that she was sick, she was busy in her office in mumbai performing the final steps of her project, she was working on the project since the last two monhts and from this week she didnt even have enough sleep, most importantly she didnt meet rohan, the phone rang and the screen flashed the name rohan, rekha and rohan were in love since the last seven years, the voice wasnt rohans, instead it was ravi..rohans best company whom rekha hated. Ravi in a hurried voice said that rohan was met with an accident and was in hospital in a severe condition, rekha's heart started racing like an engine, she asked where rohan is and ravi asked her to go to rohans place as quickly as she can. She picked her keys and drove the car as fast as she could to rohans house. Everything was silent and she felt it gloomy, she saw the door open, she went in and suddenly rohan jumped from the back and held her from back...she was surprised and told him about the call, he then said that he made a bet with his friends wether she would really come for him, she stood without any expression on her face, after a few seconds tears rolled from her pink face which until then was filled with an anxiety of what happened to him..she slapped him on his face and slammed the door. All rohan could hear is the tyres of rekha's car skidding angrily on the road, the sound slowly died..he followed her to the office, she didnt talk to him, he went to her home, she didnt open the door, they fought many times but she never behaved like this, he sent her greetings, sms's, mails that he was sorry, she didnt reply, she didnt talk to him from last 10 days, he was still calling her trying to contact her and she was just avoiding him. The rain slowly stopped and she went into her house, sat on the table and ate her lunch in dead silence, her grand mother was asleep, the water dripping from the top into the small rain ponds was making a persistent sound. She decided to take a walk and went with an umberella incase it starts raining again, she set to the fort ruins, the rain just eneded, the smell of the wet soil filled her as soon as she entered the fields, rain drops which stayed on the leaves of trees fell on her as the wind blew slowly, she was trying to forget what happened, she was happy that her grand mother is recovering, but was unable to digest what rohan had done to her, the ruins slowly got bigger as she went closer, the wet green grass around the black stone fort grew until ankle length, far away she saw cattle grazing in the plains, a boy sitting on a high rock was playing a wooden flute with an umbrella made of dried coconut leaves on his shoulder, she sat on one of the ruins and placed her hands on the cold rocks and looked at the village, the cold air along with the wooden flute sound passed her, she suddenly felt as if she was in a different world..she laid her head back on the stone, she slowly closed her eyes, she was awaken by a womans cry, she ran into the fort, she saw a woman crying her heart out holding the hand of a man who lied motionless leaning his back to the wall, she ran to them, she laid her hand on the womens shoulder and asked her what happened, rekha tried to console the women, she was unconsolable, she didnt stop crying, after sometime she wiped her eyes and said that this man was her love, he died consuming poison as she wasnt talking to him, they fought over a petty matter and she didnt talk to him for a few days, after trying for many days to make her talk to him again, he took his life by consuming poison, she then held his hand to her face, kissed his hand as said '' I am sorry dear, I love you".... suddenly someone touched rekha's shoulder, it was ramu, thier servants son, rekha looked around and it was night already, moon was shining brightly and ramu was sent to seach her and he was panting for air as he was running around searching for her...she was sitting on the ruins with her head laid back onto the stone...she was confused of what happened and couldnt hear anything eventhough ramu was speaking something, after sometime she made her mind that it was a dream and jumped from the ruin into the grass and started walking to the village along with ramu...he started running before her playing with a stick...she turned back and saw the ruins, in the ruins she saw the women now lying with her head on the mans lap..both were silent now with thier eyes closed...ramu pulled her by her arm and asked her to come...she started walking backwards with her gaze still on the moon lit ruins...she heard the womens voice again " I am sorry dear, I love you" .... rekha suddenly started running to her house through the wet grass and ramu started running with her trying to catch her speed....she raced to her room, picked the phone, panting heavily, called rohan and said  " I am sorry dear, I love you "

HE can see

''How can HE see what we were doing ? ''... '' I don't know, it is a blessing or may be a curse ''. HE can see everythign around him.HE can say what they were doing, what they did, what they were going to do.HE can say which way they were moving,HE knows each ones destination.HE caught people while stealing,HE was halied as a king...whishpers spread the word that he had only one eye...but who could see...they always felt things, never seen anything...they neither knew the color they are wearing nor the things around them...One day they heard a voice...the very voice which terrified them...the very voice which made them think for the first time out of thier world...they do not know where the voice is coming from...but they can feel the voice...moving around them...sometimes staying with them rather closely...eating thier food and drinking thier water...some tried to talk to the voice...they gave the voice a name...HE...they tried to talk to him...they asked him questions... '' Who are you ? '' ... " Where you came from ? '' .... '' Why did you come here ?'' ... " Aren't you from this world ?'' ... " Are you God ?''... he replied to none... one day HE caught a child who was about to fall into a pit... the child felt terrified by his touch...he then released his hands, the child bent down the ground and felt the pit with his hands...the child then asked a question which made him to answer... " How do you know that there is a pit her?''....HE said " I can see the pit there "... the child was enthralled by the mans gift...he went and spread the word in the village...but the words of the children were never taken seriously...they said HE cant see...they said HE was a god who came to live with us...they hailed him as a king...then they heard the voice laughing...laughing strangely...laughing at thier ignorance...

For in the land of blind.......the one eyed man is king              ....  the child is right

From India with love

the cold rain water is slowly sliding on the glass window...there he sat looking into the rain with his kid sleeping in his lap...many questions remaining unanswered...when he was in love he didnt even think whether it is wrong or not...rain always reminded him of sabeth...those were the days when he was in college doing his graduation...he came far from india to study in the united states of america...life  in america was new to him as well as exciting...he met people from different cultures...during his long walks in the evening he met sabeth...wrapped in layers of wool...her face was like the winter snow... '' It was the first time i saw her,she was beautiful...i thought i was in love''... '' For a moment i stared at her...they seemed excited on taking a look at a stranger...her laips reacted with a amicable smile...the same innocent smile which will captivate me in the years to come...She said ''Hi!''...we talked and walked and i asked her for a coffee rather unwillingily afraid of what she would think of me for i was an introvert...to my surprise she accepted...we talked for a long time about life here...she was from china...we walked from there to the way back...her dorm is on the other side of the campus...we were walking in the campus...my hand touched hers...i felt a sensation...i dont know how she felt...she kept talking...she asked me to show the store there...it was a big three storeyed store...we went there...i said i need to buy some books and asked her to wait in the ground floor...it took me some time and to finish my shopping and when i came back to the ground floor...i kept searching for her...i couldnt find her...i searched for an hour...i went back to my room...i couldnt sleep that day...in the long conversation i had..i didnt ask her e-mail or phone number...it all went like a dream...i thought why she left me like that..is she afraid of strnagers...is she avoiding me...the next day i went to the university directory and searched the name sabeth...there were 8 results...i mailed all of them asking...'' are you the same sabeth whom i met yesterday '' ... after two days i got reply from her...i asked if we two can talk again...we met at the university Mc.D...i really liked her..''... '' this is how i met your mother sid '' ... he wanted to her make her his... he married her against thier parents wish...the time they spent together was the most happiest time in thier lives... sid was born after a few years only to amplify thier happy life... everything is perfect in thier life... but that fateful day came ... the day which proved again that life is unfair... thier happy frame broke like a unattachable glass...she met with an accident when they were in china...the prophet of thier family preached that she will die because she married an alien away from the family tradition...everyone blamed him for her state...but those words didnt effect him as there is another inevitable thing that is going to happen which will leave a permanent vacancy which can never be filled...she went into the room where she was lying...it was her final moments...he sat beside her...they looked into each other eyes...billions of emotions and words travelled from each other within seconds...all the life they spent together flashed before thier eyes...both went to another world...entirely different from where we are now...where only both of them exsisted...something pulled him back from that world...he wanted to go with her...but...something is stopping him...she left him...he cried his heart out holding her hand...the hand which wiped his tears when he was in pain  was now there...lying motioinless ... he turned back and saw sid standing at the door...he was the reason why he is still in this world where she wasnt there...he took the child and left china...to india...for he came to china from india with love.....he left china without his love which left forever into a place where there is only one way to reach...he will wait all his life to reach her...........she will wait too.................................................

FALSE...

Think of two exactly contrasting terms...black and white...well, you are close...what about truth and false?...if you refer the dictionary for the word ''truth''... it shows that '' The word truth can be used to mean honestygood faithsincerity, agreement with  or reality ''.Honesty, good faith,sincerity...we are familiar with all these terms since childhood...they are quintessential for leading a good life...this was what the wise say...the saying which came to us through the ages...truth is probably the only word which has the same essence...be it any religion...any region...truth is probably the strongest nude reality which we can feel...truth is powerful......truth is very dangerous as it changes the things which are false...we live many falses as we are afraid to accept the truth..it changes our life...it brings us low down to the earth from the false heights...living truth is hard..might not be comfortable...definetly not luxurious...these are the inhibitions of a man who was afraid to accept the truth...the reality..i live on unreal inhibitions...unreal thoughts...my life is based on things which did not exsist...which never will exsist...i made things...made people believe that they did exsist..i dont want to accept the truth...am comfortable living like this...living on unperceptible things...making them look perceptible to others..i manipulate the truth...this is life...not a true or false questionaire...there is nothing like truth...what most people believe is true indeed is true...eventhough its false in reality...we are not living in reality...isnt that funny...few days before i went to a interview...i gave him my certificates...let me tell you a secret...they are fake...but am not afraid...am confident that they had something fake in that company too...so we both are living on the same grounds...and guess what i got that job...i saw a loser...who according to me is a honest man...he didnt get that job...may be he kept everything genuine...thats why he failed...i wanted to go and tell him that '' everyone cheats, why dont you do that '' ... but i did not..do you know why...well it is my success secret....i know am doing wrong and i know it in the very end of my life,...does anything else matter then...nothing...ill feel low for just minutes or hours before dying...but why waste all these years thinking of the sad last hours...am Mr.False....am the winner in this contemporary unreal world....you can see me everywhere around you...you will meet me every other day......i will see you later...until then...take care..............  ----- F A L S E

the ONE

i recently joined in a MS program in a central US university...on the first day of our classes..i.e. today...i sat in the class after a long tiring trip around the campus...i was looking for the prof. to come and start something enthusiastic about the topic he's gonna teach...i need to perform well,i came a long way from india to study and desperately want to do well...the prof. came rushing into the class...i thought he was in a hurry as he is late to the class...but it's not the reason...he rushed and asked all of us to come to the auditorium...i was not aware that today was the day when obama was taking charge as the president...when i went into the auditorium, people were crowding there watching the speech very enthusiastically... the first thought which came to my mind after seeing that thing is... '' did we ever do it...did we ever watched a president taking charge in india, that too which such an enthusiasm that even professor's encouraged the students to watch it ? " ... well i thought '' Welcome to America ! ''... Everyone clapped and cheered throughout the ceremony... what does this show? ... are ploitics closely attached to people in US than in India...what could be the reason?... is it because he is the first black president?... why doesnt this happen in india... well, we had a women president sworn in last year... how many watched it live... we didnt see it... our proffesor's didnt took us to watch it...well ,are we supposed to watch it ourselves...in india we need to take the initiatives...we always wait for others to take it...we are comfortable to follow others...we need to take inspiration from others not initiative...we need a barack obama...when i say this i dont mean a white indian president...i meant a leader who came against all the odds to lead ones country...india has it in it...india has the history....india has future too if we take gaint strides towards growth which was possible only with a collective effort... collective effort is a term which has no meaning in contemporary india...name it...be it a religious effort...sect effort...but pronouncing a word collective in india is indeed a tough task...we need everyone to awake from the eternal slumber of the never ending disorder of lacking initiative...we need to experiment...tread new paths...take a little bit of risk...india has the calibre to show new paths to others... a country like india which has the substance to be a world winner is just short of a efficient leader.. indian people should not wait for a leader to arise...they must realise that there is a leader in them..within them..waiting to get unleashed...hiding behind, confined by invisible chains...if you are not the one...help the one break the chains

Incomplete

in the slow blowing wind... hearing to the fluttering of the leaves ... under the shade of the tree ... behind the soft gushing flow of the stream ... she sat ... looking into the horizon ... a half read novel in her lap... she was watching as a day in its end ... a story left incomplete ... it was picture perfect ... her white dress laying softly on green grass against the dark brown bark of the tree ... she felt a sharp pain in her stomach ... she reached for her belly and retraced her hand to find a colour which she hated ... blood red... she was bleeding profusely ... but there was no pain in her face.. for she knew what has to happen had already happened...there is no use doing those things which are of no use...tears ran along her face along with the blood ...it was a friday evening...she was wearing a cream coloured dress ... she was there because of a man she chose to spend her life with...she never knew what was in store...she dressed up well before time and went to her favourite place...under the tree..on the side of the stream...with her new novel...the day was warm...the wind was blowing softly and her hair is playing with it...she sat under the tree and started reading the book...it was about deception...she read a page and looked around...the surroundings were soothing...she saw the grass swaying...she felt the aroma of the flowers...she felt the eternal bliss of the nature...tranquility everywhere...except in her...she cant forget the night...the night before...the night in which she came to know about a bold truth...a truth she cant bear...she was completely broken...the night which told her that she was no longer loved...she felt she no longer exsisted...for betrayal was the most murderous of the feelings to have within...she thought the world is unfair...but its not the world that is unfair...its the people who live in it are unfair...she wanted to live a lie that she is loved...but truth is powerful...it overpowered her...she decided to give it up..live the truth rather than the lie...then the day came...she went up to her favourite place...where she felt only love exsisted...she sat there looking into the horizon ... a half read novel in her lap... she was watching as a day in its end ... a story left incomplete...

I THOUGHT

idea's...thought's...view's...were born at the same place...the most important and mercurial organ, which was of course...hard to control...everyone will have their very own inhibitions, ideas, views basing on their perception's...these perception's in turn depend on various experiences they face...imagine a brain to be a box in which ideas are kept, when we face a new experience the old held inhibited perceptions regarding that will change and the new views will be incorporated into the brain...if the new incorporated views and thoughts are not accepted and if he sticks to the old thoughts the human is said to be headstrong...when a human is challenged...the challenger keeps his views at stake in the thought point of view...the challenger wants to win...if we suppose a human to be just brain and nothing at all...his brain wants to win...it means his thoughts are such that they crave only to win...they are dominating like a king with colossal power exerting it on a peasant...suppose the human who faces the challenge, means the human's brain who faces the challenge might not be as static and as strong as the challenger...during the course of this very event...anything can happen...one has to lose...that's ultimate...this very thought that one has to lose will be in their brains...to remove the thought that one has to lose..one need to have will power, will power is nothing but the state in which there will be no place for the thought -- '' I will lose''... If the both hath the power of will...the competition will be fierce and will continue till that stage until which one gets the thought that-- '' I will lose '' ... the man who rears that very thought or that very fear of losing will lose first... that thought which was born in the brain disables everything as the brain obviously is the controlling unit of the human... by the time the inevitable thing happens..that is the end of that very event...the man who lost ...the brain of that very man post the challenge will realise that what it thought was wrong... the brain says '' what i thought is wrong...all the effort has gone waste...he is superior..'' .. some will be cool after loss...some vent their anger by exerting it on things... the winning mind will be under control...the objective is achieved...it will be content unlike the losing brain...this is what happens with the brain...controling the thoughts, the brain inturn is tough...suppose there is another part of the brain which plays to our tunes...am supposing it just as a part because i want to convey that all of brain is not in our control...of course it was our brain...but it is not completely under our control all the time...for example am typing this now...my brain is fixed to typing this now...if i want to go and have water even though am not thirsty... i cannot do it... i can if i force myself a bit much.. but that was contradictory to what we were talking right now... we are thinking about the thought evolution process not altering the thoughts by forcing them... well, you can say that the brain is doing what am saying it do, that is tyipng. Can i control my brain by thinking that i only want to think about what am typing and nothing at all, but that doesnt happen ...many thoughts away from what am typing are rushing into my mind...i can control them by focusing on what am typing...it will work only 90% may be...nothing is perfect...you can continue by believing that nothing is perfect in this world... well, thinking like that is also an extra dimension of the brain... now you are thinking something... there is no '' you '' ... what's there is just your '' brain ''....

P O W E R

It was the time when the pandavas were in the final years of thier 12 year exile, they paid the price for one man's inclination towards a non perceptive result yielding event...gambling.The one is man is the eldest brother of the pandavas known as dharmaraj. The pandavas are five brothers, each one having a charm of thier own. They came to a village  along
with accompained ny thier mother, kunti.A demon used to live in the hills north to the village,it used to raid the village and kill everyone it saw untiul the villagers made a pact with demon.According to the pact they will send the youngest member from each family every month as its prey. One day kunti found her neighbour weeping along with his wife, they both are holding
each other..the husband was holding his tears and trying to console his wife. They quickly wiped thier tears when they saw thier son leaving the house to play.Kunti went to the couple and came to understand from thier eyes that thier rueful day has come, but they made no sins for such a big punishment, kunti knew everything..she was a queen, mother of the blessed five who are born to change the destiny.
Kunti said to his neighbour that his son bheema will go instead of his son.Bheema was the most inviolable man everborn,he had a clossal body which now laid wrapped tightly inorder to control its strength with robes. The pandavas were deprived of thier kingdom because of the gamble played by dharmaraj, acording to the pact the pandavas must stay away from thoer kingdom for 12 years and shouldnt reveal thier identity.
The day came and kunti sent bheema to the demon, she has no signs of worry in her face as she knew what was going to happen, she found her son's strength paining his self, the strength which he kept concealed in him.Bheema started his way to the north hills, removing each robe which painfully tied his muscles tight so that he looked thin and they cant find his true identity. His muscles started getting free,he reached the
mouth of the cave where the demon stayed. He shouted at top of his voice like a lion which was challanged of its might, like a king one sword stroke away from a epic victory. He awoke the demon with his loud cry,it came out roaring. It had the horns of a bull, awaiting to pierce its prey, its dark body behind the green hills looked like a ambushing black panther in the wild, its eyes are that of an adamant tiger crossing wilderness,
unkowing its limits. Before it stod bheema, the man capable of taming any animal. Its been since years he was challanged for a fight. He jumped on the beast and thrust his fist into the torso of the demon, the demon felt something which it nevr felt before,pain..and consequently fear...the demon never tasted fear before.Bheema broke his neck and crushed its head into the floor with his foot and let out a cry with increasing intensity...
a cry his body craved for to eject the pain he had held within for concealing his colossal strength...a cry loud enough to inject fear into those who thought to propogate evil.....

Past night chronicles

He wokeup that morning, doing his morning ritual of stretching his hands followed by a loud '' yawn!!''.He looked at the cloxk, its 9 AM.Normally at this time of the day he will be driving his way to work in his week old new BMW which came along with his promotion.Today he is happy, afterall its sunday,he has nothing to do but to spend a whole day for himself. He crawled to the edge of the bed and grabbed the remote of his music system,he kept the sound low and tried to get some sleep. He heard someone knocking the door,he dragged himself to the door and opened it.Its his neighbour Simon,he handed him a close packet.''Someone gave me this saying that they cant find you at your place'' simon said and added ''Arent you home at 10 yesterday night''.I nodded my head in agreement and said '' yes''.Simon said bye with a smile across his face and went away.I closed the door and wondered what that package contained. My eyes were diverted to the blinking display of my phone,it had some voice messages. It showed that they were left at 9 yesterday night.I thought who will phone my home, its long time since i've got calls to my home phone.I clicked the button which plays the recorded message..the message read..'' Come to the cross,i'll be waiting''.Its jennifer's voice,it is not clear and its hard to decipher what she intended to say with the distrubance in the backdrop of her voice.I wondered where she wouldve been when she called me.I went on to read the other message,it came around 9:30,its jennifer again..she said ''bye''..she said it with such a haste that..it is over under a second...the message seemed incomplete...it seemed as if she wanted to say something else but stopped.I thought why didnt she call my mobile.I searched for my mobile,it s nowhere to be found, may be i forgot it in my office.Maybe thats the reason why she called my home.He sat on his bed and op-ened that cover,he found his cellphone inside the packet. He turned the packet backwards to get a clue of the sender, but the packet was plain. He went into the missed calls,10 calls from jennifer from 8:30-8:45.He recalled what he did...he left work at 8 and went for a drink with eric, they do it every weekend after work. While he was lost in his thoughts, erics call came...'' Where are you man..have you heard the news..jennifer was killed..they found her body at the park junction''.I fell silent. No words are coming to my mouth..eric's repeating '' are you there?''..i asked in a low stuttering voice '' When?''... '' 9'0 clock yesterday night she found her body ''.I was out of my mind..I got calls from jennifer around 9...how can she die...who sent me the cellphone....why did he wrap it in a packet instead of giving directly...did i lost my cellphone..or ..someone stole it....my name is Alexander Vivian...this is what happend yesterday night................

Where are we going ?

gone is the age of ice....dinosaurs became extnict....science proclaimed that primitive man came from ape...as time went on everything changed...few things disappeared(this attributes to animals) ...some just rehashed themselves(this strictly belongs to humans)..sailors discovered new places...scientists started discovering amusing things...while philosophers are happy with thier own way of thinking and opposing the views of science often...new governoments rose...propotionately reolution's happened...new countries rose...fight for the super power began...wars began to broke...all this is because of humans thirst for something more then they have...world wars happened...technology improved as we craved for more and more development...the old saying '' necessity is the mother of invention '' changed to '' necessity is the great grand mother of invention ''...when ever theres a problem,we found an equally effective answer...we are short of resources so  started searching for them on other planets...well,its obvious that change in this world resulted due to the  change in people's outlook towards the world...In the beginning...everyone had ample food, water, shelter and air to survive..different methods are employed in gathering food..some did hunting..some fishing...farming...etc...when the fish population in a particular area decreased..the fishermen went for hunting....who asked them to do hunting instead of fishing?...well it is thier appetite to live ,which showed them to do an alternative chore, there began the thought of LIVING...later came the barter system...why the barter system?...why cant people give goods for free when they have a plenty of resources?..well as they have worked for thier goods...they dont want to give them for free...thus began the feeling of SELF....then came monetary system...which took the feeling of self to zenith...and humanity to a abyss...with the arrival of this monetary system came two contrasting things...the RICH and the POOR...and some people struggled between those and are later named as middle class...religions is a dark topic which i dont want to mention...societies with rules came into exsistence...demand for education increased...scientists number have increased whilst that of philosophers decreased...increase in technlogy and busy lifestyle isolated people..a zero emotional support was the inevitable result of this type of life...it can be named as the instigation  of MECHANICAL LIVING....as they dont know what it holds...some are investing millions of dollars for experiments and space studies whilst there are people who are deprived of healthy drinking water...but we are not bothered...because we are worried about our future than the future of others...this is the next stage of isolation...with this type of life...we dont know where we will go...may be definetly towards a better future...but whose better future?..its one's future...not our's future...there is nothing we can do...so we have to look for this now, SOLUTION...with the change of time ..everything changes

The Saint with the guitar

He laid his hands on the guitar...he felt the same elan which he felt when he first touched it...music has always been his companion..music is with him when hes happy...music is with him when hes sad...he started playing his favourite song with his eyes closed ... '' Life goes on...goes on...goes on winding....'' .. it was a hot day...the sun rose up and people are virtually  running for thier offices..some cursing thier works..watching those he said to himself...and sang a song   '' love what u do...leave what u hate'' ..  its a busy newyork street...he used to sit there in the morning a bit away from the traffic post and used to play his guitar...he plays it in the metro station in the evenings..he used to write his own songs...love was his teacher...lyrics came from his life...the main thing is hes happy with his life..hes in his mid 40's...his dad gave him his first guitar...the first guitar which his dad used to play for his mother when shes a pregnant...he used to play for his college band...he felt he and music are intertwined...he gambled with his life...changed professions...acted on instinct...now here he is doing the thing which he likes most...playing his guitar...in his college he used to play it for his girl friend...later in his profession he used to play it to kill his loneliness...love was the word he didnt understand until this time...may be thats why it taught him valuble lessons...lessons about compromise...lessons of sacrifice...lessons regarding life...he used to play until he felt hungry...collecting the money gathered around him...he used to eat and retured to his favourite position to lay his fingers on the strings...he used to sleep wherever he wants to...he lived his life with content which many lack..although they possess many than this destituted guitar player...he had everything once...love..cars..money..friends everything which we think will keep one happy.... it didnt take him long to understand that those material things are evanescent...he had his lowest ebbs in life...it dragged him down to earth...but he never gave up...he came back like a phoenix...but thats not what he wanted...he just dont want to end up a loser...so he came back to the top..and left it...donated all his property to orphanages...he gave up his monetary inclined girlfriend .... who called him a loser....he smiled and said '' whos is the loser !! ?? ... some are not blessed with somethings...he never experienced true love...and he thought without true love this life seems obscure...so he picked this out...which made him forget about love...which made him happier...so..he just took his guitar which he used to play for his college band...and there he is now...playing cheerfully his another experience turned into song '' Beautiful women come with success '' ...a symbol of noesis...a saint among commuting people...he will play and play until he dies.....with the wooden instrument in his hand....coz....music is with him when hes born.....music will be with him when he dies......
